Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of eveningreset.app and the Evening Reset application and related experiences.

By using Evening Reset, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Evening Reset Experience

Evening Reset provides a guided reflection experience for Christian women. The RESET framework and Scripture + Soaking experience support personal reflection, prayer, attention, and intentionality.

Evening Reset is not therapy, medical care, mental-health treatment, financial advice, legal advice, pastoral counseling, or a substitute for professional services. It does not create a professional-client relationship.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for protecting your password, authentication method, device, and journal-unlock answers. If you use Google Sign-In, Google's applicable terms and policies also apply.

4. Journal Security

Certain journal content may be protected through client-side encryption. You may select three personal questions and provide answers used to unlock your journal.

You are responsible for remembering those answers. Evening Reset does not maintain a recovery key for this system and may not be able to recover previously encrypted entries if you forget all three answers.

A remembered device may remain unlocked for a limited period. Anyone with access to an already-unlocked device or authenticated session may be able to access information available through that session.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• —Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• —Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's account, entries, systems, or data.
• —Attempt to bypass security controls, authentication, encryption, or access restrictions.
• —Interfere with the availability, integrity, or normal operation of the service.
• —Copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the service or its content without permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
• —Use automated means to access the service in a way that places unreasonable load on it or circumvents intended access controls.

6. Your Content

You retain rights in original content you enter into Evening Reset. You grant Evening Reset only the permissions reasonably necessary to host, store, process, display back to you, and otherwise provide features you request. This does not grant Evening Reset ownership of your journal writing.

You are responsible for the content you choose to enter.

7. Evening Reset Intellectual Property

The Evening Reset name, branding, website design, RESET framework, written materials, graphics, original prompts, software, and other original content provided by Evening Reset are owned by or licensed to Evening Reset and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, or create derivative works from proprietary Evening Reset materials.

8. Scripture and Third-Party Materials

Evening Reset may include or link to Scripture, music, services, or other materials provided under applicable licenses or by third parties. Those materials remain subject to their respective rights and terms.

Third-party links are provided for convenience. Evening Reset is not responsible for third-party content, security, availability, or practices.

9. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time for maintenance, security, technical changes, or business reasons. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser.

10. No Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Evening Reset is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that use of Evening Reset will produce a particular spiritual, emotional, personal, professional, or other outcome. Your use of the service and decisions based on your reflection are your responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Evening Reset and its operators, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights, except to the extent caused by Evening Reset's own unlawful conduct.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or our rights, or when you materially violate these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using Evening Reset at any time. Requests concerning account deletion should be directed to the support address published on eveningreset.app.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply to you under the law of your jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
